Weather updated Friday, January 15, 2021
This week started cold, transitioning to high pressure and above normal daytime temperatures. Seasonally warm temperatures are forecasted through the weekend. Expect breezy northerly winds on Saturday, then unsettled weather is possible next week.
"A big shift in the pattern looks to be possible early next week. Late Monday into Tuesday and Wednesday, models continue to indicate that a deeper and colder system will develop across the southwest... At this point, our confidence remains in the idea of colder and unsettled weather beginning early next week. Amounts and specifics on timing remain very uncertain. Stay tuned and be sure to keep up with the forecast while you are making your travel plans."
